KYDEX® is a proprietary thermoplastic material made from an acrylic-polyvinyl chloride (PVC) alloy. It combines the best of both materials—acrylic for stiffness and formability, and PVC for toughness, chemical resistance, and flame retardance.
Known for its durability and ease of fabrication, KYDEX® can be thermoformed into complex shapes with excellent detail retention and low shrinkage. The material resists scuffing, marring, and graffiti, making it a preferred choice for high-traffic and high-abuse environments.

- UL 94 V-0 flame rating
- Meets FAR 25.853(a) for aerospace interiors
- Thermoforms easily without pre-drying
- Low moisture absorption and dimensional stability
- Available in a wide range of colors, textures, and thicknesses
