Acrylic — also known as plexiglass, Plexiglas®, or PMMA — is our most popular material. Crystal-clear optical clarity, UV resistance, and shatter resistance make it the go-to choice for displays, signage, barriers, and architectural features.

17× Stronger
17 times the impact resistance of standard glass, at roughly half the weight. Shatter-resistant for safer installations.
Clarity
92% Light Transmission
Better optical clarity than glass. Crystal clear with no yellowing over time. Available in clear, colored, mirrored, and matte finishes.
Durability
UV-Resistant
Naturally resistant to UV degradation. Won't yellow, crack, or become brittle with sun exposure. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use.

Available Options

We stock clear, white, black, and colored acrylic sheets in thicknesses ranging from 1/16" to 2". Standard sheet sizes are available for immediate cut-to-size service. Specialty colors, finishes (matte, non-glare, mirrored), and thicknesses can be ordered with short lead times.

Acrylic vs. Polycarbonate

Acrylic offers superior optical clarity (92% vs. 88% light transmission) and better UV resistance, making it the preferred choice for displays, signage, and applications where appearance matters. Polycarbonate offers 250× the impact resistance of glass (vs. acrylic's 17×), making it better for machine guards, protective barriers, and high-impact environments.
