Nylon is a versatile family of synthetic thermoplastics known for toughness, durability, and excellent resistance to wear. It’s widely used in industrial applications where strength, dimensional stability, and sliding performance are critical.

We offer both extruded nylon 6/6 and cast nylon 6, each with unique performance benefits. Extruded nylon provides tighter tolerances and uniform mechanical properties, while cast nylon supports larger sizes and better load-bearing capabilities.

Nylon is easy to machine into close-tolerance parts and performs well under continuous stress or impact. Its natural lubricity minimizes the need for external lubrication, and it outlasts many metals in sliding and wear-intensive applications.

It does absorb moisture, which can affect dimensional stability in humid environments. To address this, we also offer moisture-stabilized, oil-filled, and heat-stabilized nylon formulations.

Available Grades:

  • Extruded Nylon 6/6
  • Cast Nylon 6
  • Oil-Filled Nylon (self-lubricating)
  • Heat-Stabilized Nylon
  • Glass-Filled Nylon (increased stiffness)
  • FDA Compliant Grades (for food contact applications)

Available Colors:

  • Natural (off-white)
  • Black
  • Blue (typically oil-filled)
  • Green
  • Gray
  • Custom colors are available upon request

Standard Sheet Sizes:

  • 24 in x 48 in
  • 48 in x 96 in

Thickness: 0.031 in to 6 in

Rod Diameters: 0.250 in to 12 in

Custom sizes and tight-tolerance parts available upon request.

Nylon is engineered for mechanical components that must perform under pressure, friction, or continuous use:

  • Bearings, bushings, and thrust washers
  • Gears, sprockets, rollers, and sheaves
  • Wear pads, guide rails, and cams
  • Structural machine parts and brackets
  • Electrical insulators and switch components
  • Conveyor parts and packaging equipment
  • FDA-compliant parts for food processing systems

We supply nylon sheets and rods cut-to-size and offer in-house precision machining. When performance, strength, and longevity matter, nylon gives you the edge.
