How strong is the magnet?
Strong enough for vehicle doors at highway speed when applied to clean, flat steel — it's the same class of magnet as commercial vehicle signage. Curved or dirty surfaces reduce hold; we'll advise on your application.
Why can't it go in a rotary engraver?
The magnetic body doesn't machine cleanly under rotary cutters — Rowmark specs it laser-only. Since we run lasers, that's a non-issue when we make your pieces.
Will it scratch my car paint?
Applied and removed properly — clean surface, clean magnet, off before grit builds up — it's paint-safe. We include care instructions with vehicle sets.
Can you cut custom shapes?
Yes — laser-cut shapes, rounded corners, and logo cutouts all work. Engraving pairs with cutting in one pass on our machines.
Does it work outdoors?
It handles vehicle and sheltered outdoor duty; for permanent all-weather signage we'd point you to a mounted material like LaserMax instead.
