Yes. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No appointment, no order ahead — bring your measurements and we will cut it while you wait. Calling ahead only helps if you want us to confirm the material is on the rack before you drive over.
No. One small piece is a real order here. Bring the measurements and we cut it; one piece and fifty pieces get the same attention.
Cut-to-size is straight cuts, done on the saw while you wait. Curves, radii, holes, slots and profiles go to CNC routing or laser cutting instead — still in this building, just a quoted job rather than a walk-in. Tell us the part and we will tell you which one it needs.
All of it. Sheet, rod, tube and pipe all get cut to length here — acrylic tube, PVC pipe by the cart, acetal rod sliced into pucks. The photos above are real jobs off our own saw.
Tell us the tolerance the part actually needs and we will tell you straight whether the saw holds it or whether it belongs on the CNC. Most cut-to-size work does not need a machining tolerance and paying for one is wasted money. When it does, we would rather move it to the right machine than cut it twice.
Bring the old part. Matching a worn cutting board, a cracked window or a broken guard against the original is faster and more accurate than reading someone else's measurements, and it is how a good share of this work comes in.

Silver State Plastics cuts plastic to size at our Sparks, NV shop — sheet, rod, tube and pipe, from stock we hold ourselves rather than order in. We work in acrylic, polycarbonate, twin wall, HDPE, UHMW, ABS, PVC, nylon and acetal. Straight cuts are done on the saw; anything with a curve, a hole or a profile goes to CNC routing or laser cutting in the same building.
Most suppliers sell you a full sheet and leave the cutting to you. We will sell you the piece. Bring measurements, a sketch, or the broken part to match — a worn cutting board or a cracked machine guard is often the fastest drawing there is. Two cuts we do enough of to have their own pages: wear strips and liners and rustication strips for concrete forms.
