ColorCast is microsurfaced cell cast acrylic in 1/8″ and 1/4″ gauges designed for reverse engraving: the graphic goes in from the back, and the front stays a smooth surface that can be cleaned and sanitized. Cast acrylic carries thickness variation — check gauge where parts must fit extrusions or assemblies; multiple laser passes may be required on some gauges.
