How do I get two different colors from one sheet?
Depth. Engrave to .003″ and the middle color shows; engrave to .008″ and you hit the core. Two passes at two power settings, both colors permanent — no paint, no vinyl.
How much production time does it actually save?
Whatever your paint-fill or vinyl step costs now, it goes to zero. For shops running volume tags or safety signs, that's often the single biggest step in the job.
Is it rated for outdoor safety signage?
Yes — Tri-Layer is rated for interior and exterior projects. For gloss exterior work or extreme environments, ask us to compare it against LaserGloss Exterior and DurMark for your use case.
Can you run my tri-layer parts for me?
Yes. We'll program both depths, run test coupons, and deliver finished parts. If you're running your own laser, we sell full sheets and cut blanks, no minimum.
What does the R in TL923346R mean?
It distinguishes the Stainless/Black/Red stack from its Stainless/Black/Orange sibling (TL923346). Order by the full code and there's no ambiguity — every combination above lists its exact code.
