Matte is the flat, non-glare standard; satin adds a subtle grain that reads richer up close and hides minor wear. Same engraving performance — it's an aesthetic call, and samples at the shop settle it.
Thin gauge wraps curves, fits badge domers, and keeps adhesive-mounted tags low-profile. It's also lighter on the wallet for volume work.
UltraGrave carries UL approval for component products (yellowcard E354751) — relevant when engraved labels are part of a UL-listed assembly. If your panel shop needs the yellowcard, this is the line.
